The German short film "Kaputt" by Alexander Rahl and Volker Schlecht won the Grand Prix at the 23rd Stuttgart Animation Film Festival (ITFS), which closed last Sunday. The prize money is 15,000 euros.

The International Short Film Jury, composed of Cav Bogelund, Spela Cadez, Rocio Ayuso, Jala Maghout, and Till Penzek, awarded the top prize to Kaputt for "a powerful record of human strength and cruelty.
