Sony Pictures Imageworks to Establish Studio in Montreal, Create 150 New Jobs

Animation and VFX powerhouse Sony Pictures Imageworks is expanding its physical presence with a new office in Montreal.

In animation, Imageworks recently worked on Chris William's "The Sea Beast" and is currently working on projects such as the "Spider-Verse" sequel and "K-Pop: Demon Hunters." The company's VFX work includes the Marvel blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and the upcoming The Marvels.
