Animation Workers at Gladius Studios in Puerto Rico Vote to Unionize with Animation Union

Workers at Gladius Studios in San Juan, Puerto Rico, successfully voted to unionize under the Animation Guild (TAG), IATSE Local 839 This is the first time TAG has organized outside of the continental U.S.

The union is the first of its kind in the United States.

We wanted to speak up and have our voices heard. But at the same time, we want to make Gladius a more sustainable workplace and open the doors to retain creative talent in Puerto Rico.
