Annapurna Animation Announces Feature Film Adaptation of "Stray" and Chris Wedge's Next Film "FOO"

Annapurna Animation today outlined its ever-growing list of projects and announced the hiring of two executives.

The company is planning a reunion of sorts for Blue Sky Studios. Annapurna launched a dedicated animation division last year under the direction of former Disney Animation and Blue Sky executives Robert Baird and Andrew Milstein. Its first film was the former Blue Sky production Nimona. Today's announcement also includes the appointment of a former Blue Sky producer, who is one of the studio's founders and a former director of Blue Sky's upcoming productions.
