This Land is Mine, by Nina Paley.

It's been a while since we've seen new animation from Nina Paley, director of one of the best animated feature films of the past decade, Sita Sings the Blues. She released "This Land is Mine" yesterday. The short film is "a brief history of a land called Israel/Palestine/Kanaan/Levant."

Nina envisioned it as the last scene of her feature film project, Seder-Masochism. The status of the feature film is unknown, but at least this stand-alone short comes with a handy guide to who is killing who.
