The Dog in Heaven, by Janet Norgaard.

Director Janet Norgaard's award-winning tour de force "Hund i Himlen (Dogs of Heaven)" will be available online today. We hope you will make time to see it.

Hund i Himlen is a 25-minute animated short film with stylized visuals and strong dramatic storytelling, available (via Vimeo) on its own web page with subtitles and a great behind-the-scenes page explaining the entire process of making the film. Director Norgaard says of the film:

"It is aimed at children, but like a good fairy tale, it can also move adults. Earlier this year, it won the main prize at Denmark's largest short film festival, the Odense Film Festival. It has also been aired on Danish television and has been touring the festival for the past six months. I feel that now is the time for many people to enjoy this film."
