Watch Glen Keane's New Google Short "Duet"

This morning at the Google I/O Developer Conference, Glen Keane premiered "Duet," a new hand-drawn short film he created with Google's Advanced Technology & Projects Group. The short is the third in Google's Spotlight Stories series, which aims to explore the potential of interactive animation on mobile devices. [The first short in the series, "Windy Day," was directed by Jan Pinkava ("Geri's Game") and debuted last October. Pinkava remains the creative director of the entire series to date.

The version of Duet that Keane unveiled today is a non-interactive version, not the full mobile experience that will appear later this year on devices with proper hardware capabilities and Android 4.2. You can watch the press conference and a short movie at this YOUTUBE link.
