Great short animation made entirely from still images.

Adding movement to photographs is now a very common technique, but Benny Merwin's "The Putin Depardieu Love Story" takes the technique a step further, creating a fantastic, eerie and funny animation:

It was all done in CS4 with no additional plug-ins: ...... To create the illusion of perspective, the layers were deformed using a variety of tools. The arms are usually just paired to the body. If you need to create a larger distortion, you can always track the layer with another composition (just add colored dots and remove them) and add the arms, head, or whatever you need to place.
