The Art and Making of Taking Flight: Exclusive eBook

"Taking Flight," a new short film inspired by the life and legacy of Antonio Pacin, inventor of the Radio Flyer Wagon, is now available online. In this fictional tribute to Pasin's legacy, a small boy's boring day with his grandfather turns into a larger than life journey.

The film is directed by:

Brandon Oldenburg of Moonbot Studios, and utilizes a variety of animation production techniques to explore a recurring theme in the studio's work: the universal magic that lies beneath the everyday life many of us take for granted Aldenberg has previously won an Academy Award for his work. Oldenburg previously co-directed the Academy Award-winning short "The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore" and the Emmy Award-winning films "The Scarecrow" (with Chipotle Mexican Grill) and "Silent" (with Dolby Laboratories).

Cartoon Brew worked with Moonbot Studios and Radio Flyer to produce a 33-page e-book filled with artwork from various stages of "Taking Flight" production, interviews with the director, and quotes from others involved in the making of the film.
