Glen Keane and Kobe Bryant discuss their new short film "Dear Basketball.

Glen Keane and Kobe Bryant were in New York today for a conversation about their new short film, Dear Basketball.

The full hour-long conversation between Bryant, Keane, and former NFL player and current TV personality Michael Strahan can be viewed below:

I attended the conversation in person and learned more about Keane and Bryant's creative collaboration and the new path they I am pleased to report that it was an informative conversation, including the inspiring words each had to say about the timing of the breakthrough.

Not yet online is the short film itself, which premiered this week at the festival. The six-minute project is based on a poem Bryant wrote in 2015 to announce his retirement. It is being produced by Bryant's Kobe Studio and Believe Entertainment Group. Plans for distribution of the film have not yet been finalized.
