Academy Announces Short List of 10 Animated Short Films

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced the short list of 10 animated short films that will advance to voting for the 90th Academy Awards.

Below is the list of 63 animated shorts that have qualified for the category.

The 10 films are listed below in alphabetical order by title, along with their production companies:

Members of the Short and Feature Animation Competition will select from these films at chapter screenings in Los Angeles, London, New York and San Francisco in January. Five nominated films will be selected. Nominations will be announced on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.
