Happy Birthday June Foley!

The photo above was taken early last week. I was on one side of the glass wall, and on the other side, inside the studio, director Mark Evanier (with his back to the camera) was rehearsing his lines with actress June Foray before recording a new episode of "Garfield".

June there is still full of vitality and delivers a classic animated performance. No one can replace what she brings to the character.

Today is her birthday. Happy Birthday, June. I look forward to posting this greeting for many years to come!
