Today's "Epic" Artist of the Day Dan Scheffelman

In anticipation of the U.S. release of "Blue Sky's Epic," we continue our week of featuring artists who worked on the film. Today, we'll take a look at the work of storyboard artist Dan Scheffelman.

Dan has worked on boards for TV series such as "The Venture Brothers," "Lobotomy," "Celebrity Deathmatch," and "Doug" as well as working as a story artist at Blue Sky.

When drawing caricatures of celebrities and politicians, Dan uses digital paint, markers, pencils, ink, and watercolors to distort and render their faces in a humorous manner.

Dan previously worked as an editorial cartoonist for Newsday and continues to draw illustrations and cartoons, which can be seen on his website DanShefelman.com.
