See two new CN pilots by the "Regular Show" staff

Toby Jones' "AJ's Infinite Summer."

Tonight, Cartoon Network quietly released two new pilots from 2013: the Toby Jones-produced "AJ's Infinite Summer" and the Sean Szeles-produced "Long Live the Royals." Both Jones and Szeles are regular show participants; Jones is a writer/storyboard artist and Szeles is a director/writer/storyboard artist.

Prior to making AJ's Infinite Summer, which revolves around the antics of three teenage friends, Toby Jones had co-directed a 60-minute independent live-action film called AJ Goes to France (2006). There is probably not much continuity between that earlier film and this short, but the star of both projects is the same man, AJ Thompson.

Szeles' short film "Long Live the Royals" also features three children, but in this case the children are modern-day royal siblings living with their parents, the king and queen.

Both shorts are currently available online in the U.S., but may be geo-blocked in other regions.
