First Look Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" series

At New York Comic-Con earlier this month, Disney-owned Marvel released test footage of the animated series "Guardians of the Galaxy," which will premiere in 2015 on Disney XD's "Marvel Universe" programming block. Marvel Animation Studios will produce the series.

The show's supervising director is Leo Reilly (supervising director of "Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United" and technical director of "Sofia the First" and "Tron: Uprising") and exec. Producer is Jeph Loeb ("Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L."). Executive producers are Jeph Loeb (Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and head of Marvel Television), Alan Fine (Iron Man, Thor), Dan Buckley (Marvel's Hulk and Agents of S.M.A.S.H.), Joe Quesada ( Marvel's Avengers Assemble). The Disney/Marvel feature film on which the series is based has earned $730 million worldwide since its international release on July 31.
