"Wall-E", "Finding Nemo" director Andrew Stanton directs the live-action function "In the blink of an eye".

Oscar-winning Wall E and Finding Nemo director Andrew Stanton are in the blink of an eye sticking to live-action for his next feature.

Stanton was lined up to direct a sci-fi drama produced by the Walt Disney Company's Searchlight Pictures and written by Colby Day. Produced by Jared Ian Goldman (Ingrid Goes West, Russian Doll).

In The Blink of an Eye is Stanley Kubrick's "2001 Space Odyssey," Christopher Nolan's "The Last Jedi," according to The Hollywood Reporter, who announced the vast and ambitious Prostanton's involvement in exploring the entire history of the world and addressing the biggest problems facing humanity by crossing three unique storylines. Films such as "Interstellar" and "Magnolia" by Paul Thomas Anderson have been proposed as analogues.

It would seem that Stanton's resume suggests that he could be just a man for this kind of work. His work focuses on universal and impactful experiences that can often be relevant to most of any audience, even in children's and family spaces, but that can be difficult to handle. More recently, his directorial work, among other things, better for all mankind, Cole Saul, and more adult-oriented programs such as Stranger Things, his live・action feature debut came in 2012 when he adapted the space epic John Carter for Disney.
