-Nemona - Debuts at No. 9 on Netflix - S Top 10, -PAW Patrol: The Movie- at No. 6.

Netflix announced its weekly top 6/26 to 7/2 weeks, with Nick Bruno and Troy Quane's Netflix original Nimona ranked No.3 on the English feature list, even though it was only available for 3 days at the time.9

Nimona wasn't the only animation feature that appeared in the top 10 this week, but the other 1 was the acquisition. PAW Patrol: This film has been on the list for 6 consecutive weeks, ranked 6th in the frame from 6/26 to 7/2 in 6th place.

In terms of Netflix animation, Nemona made by the division to debut in the Top 10, followed by Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio and Wendy Rogers' Magician's Elephant

That's good news. The bad news is that Nemona's 5.5 million viewing hours are just a fraction of Pinocchio's 28 million, behind the Sea Beast's 33.5 million in the first weekend. But these films were huge hits, won the praise of critics and audiences, also won Oscar nominations, and both received a larger marketing campaign than Nemona.

Netflix's latest worst news is that Nimona's 3-day viewing time was far behind Scrooge: A Christmas Carol's 817 million hours. The film was a critical bomb and never came close to the artistic or narrative heights of Nimona. They also received little marketing.

Despite Nemona's lacklustre debut figures, there may be long-term hope for the film. There are many positive reviews surrounding the film, and critics almost universally love it. It will be interesting to keep track of how it translates into the long-term viewership of the movie it deserves.

Jamie's Take: Nemona is one of Netflix's strongest original animation products to date and 1 of the best animated films of the year. It's ripe for possible sequels and spin-offs similar to the Sea Beast, and we hope audiences will find their way to the movie.
