Hand-drawn animations inspired by watercolors, paper clippings and temporary tattoos work in the "Sultana's Dream" trailer.

Austria惻based distributor Square Eyes has released an English-language trailer for Isabel Herguera's Sultana's Dream, which will be screened in the main competition of this year's San Sebastian International Film Festival.

Elguera is from San Sebastian, so it is a special honor to have her debut feature-length premiere at one of Spain's top festivals. The filmmaker is best known for his 2005 short film "La gallina ciega", which was screened in a competition at Annecy and was nominated for the Spanish Academy Goya Award.

Sultana's dream follows a Spanish artist living in India discovering a book about a land ruled by women and inhabited by men in isolation. Having just broken up with her lover, she decided to look for Ladyland, a place where women can live with peace of mind.
