Here's one reason not to hate this particular Monday: Sony Pictures Entertainment has just released the first trailer for its upcoming Garfield movie, coming in theaters May 24.

The Garfield film is directed by Mark Tindall, who has proven an adept animated comedy filmmaker, such as David Reynolds who is the co・screenwriter of Emperor New Tindall's "The Emperor's New Groove" directed by Finding Nemo and Mulan. He wrote several Disney animated films and was nominated for an Academy Award for the former.
