"Gumball", "Room on the Broom" and "Peppa Pig" won the British Animation Award

The winners of the tenth British Animation Awards were announced at a ceremony on Friday evening at the BFI Southbank in London. Amongst the big winners were The Amazing World of Gumball, which succeeded in netting two prizes; and Room on the Broom, which had previously been nominated for an Oscar and BAFTA and tonight succeeded in winning the Best Long Form award ahead of the high-profile films The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists and The Snowman and the Snowdog.
