Explore our coverage of the 27 animation features competing for Oscar

Earlier this week, The Wrap published a list of the 27 animated features that have so far qualified for this year's Oscars.

We've verified the list, which is remarkably long for a year of badly disrupted film releases. While 27 isn't quite a record - last year saw 32 features qualify - we should note that the list isn't necessarily final: these are the films that have been added to Academy members' screening room to date, and more could theoretically follow. There isn't much time for that, though, as preliminary voting ends on February 5.

In any case, we've spent much time over the past 12 months watching, pondering, and writing about the qualified features. With the list now taking shape, we've rounded up our past coverage of the films - almost all of them have been featured on the site before. Dive in…
